A part of the membership survey will include information about ways to be engaged with ATHNA by volunteering to help fill one of the many positions that it takes to run a 3,000+ membership organization. You can also volunteer to join a committee – we need your help!
3. Consider joining the Board of Directors!
In February, we will announce a Call for Nominations and open our annual process to recruit new members to join the Board of Directors. Please consider if you would like to nominate yourself or a colleague to join our Board!
4. SAVE THE DATE for Saturday, June 22, 2024!
ATHNA is restarting the NED Events – Networking, Education, and Development! Spend part of your day with other travel health nurses and join one of the sites across the country. Continuing education credit will be provided, and you can meet and connect with others as a part of your own professional development. More information will be provided later this spring but mark your calendars today!
5. ISTM is coming to New Orleans in May 2025, and so is ATHNA!
As we did once before, ATHNA is planning a one-day pre-conference for nurses in the city where ISTM will hold its next meeting. Planning for this event is ongoing; anticipate more details this spring. In the meantime, mark your calendars to be in fun and beautiful New Orleans in the springtime on May 10, 2025!
